I was working on my rail system in minecraft. I had to chase down a few runaway minecarts so I took my horse. To make a long story short, my horse is stuck in a minecart in water that is 1 block deep. I tried breaking the minecart but all that did was damage the horse. If I right click it then I start riding it. Could someone help me get my horse out of the minecart alive.

First remove the water if its possible then push the minecart so its on 2 block instead of one. Break the block on either the left or the right of the minecart. Make the hole 2 blocks deep. Jump into the hole and break the minecart from under
