How do you tame a Horse in Minecraft? I figured out how to set them on fire?

Keep right clicking on them with an empty hand, this will put you on the horse and it will kick you off. Keep doing it and eventually you will tame it

Right click them with an empty hand. It will buck you off at first. Repeat this process until you see hears and it doesn't buck you off. Then put a saddle on it.

Taming horses is a bit of a "Trial by Fire" deal… As you'll have to "break" them (much like IRL with wild horses).

You can feed the horse some foods to improve their temperament (which is effective the chance of taming said horse). Otherwise, just right click on the horse with an empty hand to attempt to ride them.

Each horse starts at 0 TP (temperament points). When you attempt to ride a wild horse, the game rolls a d100 (for a result between 0 & 99). If you hit 100 or more after all TP boosts & you tame the horse.

If you fail to hit the target value & the horse will buck you off. HOWEVER, the horse gains 5 TP in the process.

Feeding food, like sugar, carrots & apples, will add 3 TP to the horse.

In short…
* Without feeding the horse, it'll take between 2 - 21 attempts to tame them
* Feeding a quarter-stack of food (16 units, providing 48 TP), it'll take 1-11 attempts to tame them.
* Feeding a half-stack of food (32 units, providing 96 TP), it'll take 1-2 attempt to tame them.
* Feeding 34 units of food prior to riding (putting the horse at 102 TP) will effectively guarantee taming efforts.

Once tamed, you can place a saddle on them as well as other horse-related equipment (like armor).
