Can I use torrents without getting caught?

It's a risk you take with all torrents. My former boyfriend used to download lots of torrents and never got caught, but I'm always too scared to do that so I just pay for things instead. Usually they bust you through your Internet, not your IP address, so most likely your parents or whoever pays for your Internet would receive a letter and possible legal action, not you. But then you get in trouble with them. I do know you can install a proxy to disguise where your Internet is coming from (for example, make it look like you're logging in from Switzerland) but again, those may not fool anyone. So, you ahve to decide if that game is really worth the risk. You can probably download it no problem, but the chance of getting caught is always there.

Don't risk with Minecraft, you won't even get the full version. I hope you're not just being too lazy to do some work.

Prirate bay. They offer free versions of computer games movies ect. There's no virus's plus you have a mac so you don't need to worry about that anyways. Goodluck!

It's is a risk you'll take but is very unlikely. Iv downloaded 3000+ movies and several hundred thousand songs and haven't gotten in trouble. If you do get caught it's a three strike out with you Internet provider. But like I said that's rare. You can also decrease the possibility of getting caught by using peerblock. So if you only use torrents from time to time you fine. If you torrent a lot use peerblock or get a vpn.
Fyi- Mine craft doesn't have a full version. Mine craft is a subscription type thing where you have to sign in. It's $20 to get it and it lasts forever. I understand money shortages so I recommend looking for a mod to use. While you have full access to the game you won't have a character name that's specialized.
