I mainly would play Hearthstone, minecraft on good graphics, shadows, and render distance. Also I like having a webpage up with like a typing software and Spotify in the background. Will it be able to handle all that and is it worth the $1299?

Apple is a waste of money. For $700, you can get an HP with the same performance.

For the price, a mac pro is not great on performance. BUT Hearthstone is not a very heavy game and it should run fine on the $1299 macbook pro.
