Black Border and bad quality on Fraps Recording?

I record Mine craft Youtube channels with Fraps. Just recently I tried making my minecraft screen smaller to make my PvP better. I really want to keep it this way. I record a video with Fraps but when I uploaded it on Youtube, it uploaded with bad quality (480p) and black borders. Help would be appreciated (:
P.S: When I put the raw file into virtualdub it has two screens one is frozen one isn't.

Try rendering your fraps videos in windows movie maker or something. Editing is essential to any youtube video. Also, to make your pvp experience better, try making your GUI scale bigger/smaller and see if that works.

Your computer might have frame rate issues, your processor/graphics card may not be strong enough to tolerate a screen recording program. You may need a stronger a computer, also mine craft tends to have frame rate issues. Also check your resolution on your computer, the black border may have something to do with that. Make sure you tick record full screen. As for 480p Fraps tends to do that for me, you need to make sure your computer is in a resolution of 1280x720 and above plus make sure when your editing your video in your program make sure you render it as 1280x720 (720p) or 1920x1080 (1080p)

Hope this helps!

As far as I know, Fraps is suited to recording fullscreen games and not windowed games or desktop applications. Have you tried another recording program such as Bandicam? It can record either fullscreen games or windowed applications. Try it out and see if it helps - the unregistered version will allow you to record for up to 10 minutes at a time, so you will know if it works or not.
