I record Minecraft videos and upload them on Youtube. I use Fraps to record. When I first started recording, I played Minecraft windowed, but minecraft screen covered up all of monitor. Lately I have been playing on windowed, but I make the minecraft box smaller. If you look at the picture I put, you can see the approximate size I play on. Before, when I played with the Minecraft box taking up the whole screen, I noticed there was a little black border on the sides, but if wasn't half as bad as the ones that there are now, and the quality of the video was better. Now the video on youtube is 480p. If it helps, my graphics card is Galaxy, Nvidia Geforce GT 620, with 2 GB frame buffer (I'm really bad with tech, so I may have said something wrong.) Help would be much appreciated (:
Black Border and Bad Quality on Fraps Recording? - 1

As far as I know, Fraps is suited to recording fullscreen games and not windowed games or desktop applications. Have you tried another recording program such as Bandicam? It can record either fullscreen games or windowed applications. Try it out and see if it helps - the unregistered version will allow you to record for up to 10 minutes at a time, so you will know if it works or not.
