Why is minecraft out of stock in India?

I have been looking forward to buy Minecraft for Xbox 360 consoles. I looked up on flipkart but found out that the product was out of stock. I checked on other sites lyk Amazon.in, ebay and snapdeal as well but was surprised to find that none of the sites have Minecraft available. I wanted to know why its not available. Is it just because of the popularity or it is permanantly discontinued? And I saw 2 different prices fr minecraft: 1,480 and 3,000. Which one is the demo version and which is the full game? Please answer! I need this game for my brother's birthday!
