Does Herobrine Exist on minecraft?

I have minecraft for the computer (i have a mac) i have never seen Herobrine myself at all. I have built the totem once in a single player minecraft world, but nothing happened so i deleted it right away. In this world it is a super flat w/ creative mode and on peaceful mode, and if this helps, i built alot of pixels and statues and paths around. I have never died at all on any of my worlds because most are on peaceful mode. Never have i seen Herobrine on any servers. I have a server of my own, i never seen him there either. Even on xbox i haven't seen him either, even on survival.

I heard that mine craft (mojang) had told that Herobrine is fake, but that might be part of it? People on youtube have videos some look fake but others look kinda real but what i noticed that every one that looks real either has problems with the game after, such as game keeps freezing, deleted worlds, servers won't work, etc. Could herobrine be a virus? If it was real and it is a virus makes me wonder why mojang would put herobrine in the game…

my main point is, Does Herobrine Exist on minecraft?

Herobrine doesn't exist; it's a joke by the developers based on its popularity as a creepypasta/fan-inspired character or theory. Anyone claiming that Herobrine did this or that are most likely trolls or griefers.

Analyse the game code- there's no such entity.

At one-point in time Herobrine did exist in the earlier version of the game.
The developer denied it for a period of time but later revealed that it was a long running joke and removed Herobrine from the game. There was even a set of patch notes saying Herobrine removed.
Herobrine was never in the Console version of the game but was on the P.C. Version for a period of time.

Even if I said I've seen him you wouldn't find him in the same place. He isn't in just one place he just suddenly… Appears. Far enough to where you think you can see him but you don't know because the distance is too far to recognize. I've heard he builds houses with traps in them, you'll find strange structures and all have red stone torches on em. The summoner you tried is a mod, and won't work unless you download it. But where's the fun in that? Some "witnesses" do end up having lag so I hear. It won't matter if you're on peaceful mode if you wonder about that, he'll find a way

Herobrine works like a virus but I don't think he is. I've heard them say he leaves trails of chaos behind (like random lava or something) and I've actually seen a tunnel I didn't Build and it didn't look generated. I think they say "Herobrine removed" as a little joke to everyone… Or do they?

But Don't actually TRY to find him. It's about as hopeless as finding big foot. Let him come to you.

Earlier versions of minecraft had hero brine on. They have taken him out of mine craft. You can't find him. There may be a mod which brings him in the game again

No he isn't, He is a creepy pasta like slenderman and jeff the killer and other people like that he was made to scare people from playing minecraft you would need to get a mod for him if you WANT to see him but then you would have to build a totem and he WOULD mess with you and grief and stuff like that, and if your playing on a world that you have a lot of stuff on I WOULDNT EVER DO THAT IN MY ENTIRE MINECRAFT LIFE…
