Well I have a laptop the Acer V5-473p with intel Core i5-4200U 1.6GHz with Turbo boost upto 2.6Ghz, and intel HD Graphics 4400, upto 1792 MBB dynamic video memory. Then When I play the Prototype, Minecraft/Assasins Creed/Left for Dead/Counter Strike. Lol. They always lag at screen, when i move my mouse the game is running slow. Is there a problem?
When i play games on Laptop, it always lag?
It's because you only have Intel HD Graphics (which is an integrated card, not meant for gaming)
And your processor of only 1.6Ghz doesn't help (even with Turbo Boost).
You'd need a better laptop.
The problem is your videocard
its an intel hd 4000 and those are not suited for gaming
get a better laptop one with a dedicated ie not an intel hd video card
and yes you need a better laptop in thi scase you can't upgrade the video card in a laptop
Scan your computer for viruses, or maybe its the connection?
The problem is your Intel HD 4400. Whilst it is capable of playing certain games, it will struggle to play most. For example, you can run low intensity games like Dead Space with no problem, this is because Dead Space is small with only a little bit of map open at a time. Games like Assassins Creed have huge maps which require thousands of things to be rendered at once and your graphics chip simply can't handle that.
So open world games are always going to cause you to lag, smaller games like CS shouldn't be too much of a problem since the levels are also fairly small and not hugely graphics intensive. Make sure you turn your video quality settings in-game down to the lowest they can go and then work your way up gradually to see where your limit is.
Also make sure that you set your laptops power options to High Performance, this can make all the difference. Right click the battery icon in the bottom right corner of your desktop and switch it to High Performance (or click More Power options if it doesn't show the high performance one straight away)
