Help! My windows 8 minecraft isn't working for multiplayer servers. I go on, and it says '' Can't connect to server.'' on all of them. I refresh and researched but nothings working!

Your probably on 1.8, downgrade down to 1.7 since almost all servers are on 1.7. To do that, click edit in the bottom left of the launcher, towards the middle it says "Use Version" Click Release 1.7.10, then save your profile.
