I don't know what the issue is but I can't seem to get on any server. When I try to get on a server it takes a long time and then this pops up. Io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException… Connection timed out. I'm on a mac, I've turned my firewall off and I'm pretty sure it isn't that. I've tried getting on servers on other computers but none work for my account. I've tried on 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9 none of them are working.
Why can't I get on any minecraft server?

My buddy had this problem once you might be accidently typeing the server ip into the server name. Type the server ip into the bottom line instead of the top one. Come check my server out our ip is play.etheralcraft.net
just type that ip into the bottom bar when you click add server and it should take you right to us. Hope to see you there! Btw were not on 1.9 just yet were still on 1.8.9
