Me and my brother wanna play minecraft LAN world server. I turned the server on on my computer in my room and it doesn't show up on his computer i don't know what's wrong can someone help me please?

First, make sure that your running the same version of Minecraft. Mods included.
Second, make sure your on the same router.
If that fails try joining the Homegroup on your router. Homegroup settings could mess with your ability to connect to each other.
---Also, if your using non-premium accounts, it may not work.
