I like the portability of the new Macbook especially for school. I also like being an early adopter and the thought of getting a computer before my friends excites me. This computer would need to last me several years writing essays and doing light gaming such as mincraft and Garry s mod with the possibility of slightly more intense games (maybe call of duty). Would the Macbook (gold PT black?) be enough or should I play it safe and go for the pro? BTW I'm going to be a junior in high school this year and the only other device I have is an iphone 6.

I would say macbook pro its easy to carry around. And it still has a ton of space! I use it for homework and stuff like that. I definitely recommend macbook pro!

Macbook pro is a good choice, it has pretty large storage for you to keep your files and n has a beautiful design too. It has everything you need for school and college. The new macbook is thin and very portable however the processor is quite slow compared to the pro and laptops will get slower by time.
So i definitely recommend the macbook pro
