How to save my typing for my chat for next time I type in minecraft?

You can't. I guess if you took pictures of the chat with some outside source you would be able to go back and see it, but it would not still be in the chat pod.

Press down arrow I think to cycle through the last typed messages.

Take a screenshot of the chat and then go to images on your computer to find it later
