How do i find diamonds in minecraft?

You need to get quite lucky while mining to find some, but if you do, you need to mine the diamond ore with an iron (or diamond) pickaxe.

Don't know if this is a standard, but explore deep enough to find lava and you'll be sure to run across some. Kinda have to be lucky to find a pocket of it.
