I want to get minecraft for the computer but do i go to a store and get a disc and put it in my computer or do i go on the website and download it to my computer?

It depends, you can either go and get a Premium card from stores if you lack a VISA or MasterCard to use for the minecraft.net premium online upgrade.

Go to minecraft.net and make an account then upgrade it to premiun

You buy it at the store then you have a premium minecraft account so you can use your username and password to sign into minecraft in the launcher you download
