I was dumb and attempted to download a minecraft texture pack or something a few months ago and ended up with adware. I downloaded superantispyware and it detects "adware tracking cookies" all the time. I can have it delete them and scan and have more five minutes later. I have all cookies receiving turned off now. I downloaded malwarebytes today and it deleted alot of "PUPs" and I thought that fixed it but it didn't. The adware shows up as "ads by quickshop" and is saying "dnsunlocker" by the ads now. I've deleted everything in my documents, downloads, even recycle bin that could be the problem. Anyone have a solution?
Computer keeps getting adware/malware?
First of all, get avast. It's an antivirus.
Second, make sure a download button is actually a download, not an ad.
With windows, if you hover over the button and read what appears in the corner, it should say what website. If it says somewhere sketchy DON't CLICK IT.
Also remove that sketchy antivirus you have.
Adware infection.
First try
ADWCleaner > http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/
Then try
Junkware removal tool > http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/
if both those fail to solve the problem,
then use Reason Core Security > https://www.reasoncoresecurity.com/
if that fails to solve the problem then come back to me on here (email)
and we will try another approach to removing the adware.
If you have try some method with no luck, you might as well try the removal guide on - hijackerremovalexpert.blogspot.com
