Camtasia Recording At 30 FPS?

I got camtasia with my new laptop which is a great laptop. It has 16 gb of ram, a quad core 2.4 ghz proccessor and a great graphics card. Basically i changed the settings so that the screen capture rate is 60 but my minecraft stays at 30 FPS. If anyone could help me fix this problem i would be very gratefull and give best answer. Also i have considered switching to fraps as i have the trial version of camtasia.
