I just got an Xbox One and I want to buy COD: Advanced Warfare for it. I have it on the Xbox 360 as a disk and I have the season pass for it. If I was to buy it for the Xbox one would I get the DLC for it for free. I know Minecraft does this.

Not all games do this, but Advance Warfare does do this. As long as you log in using the same XBL account, you should then be able to go into the game, access the store, then download the expansions on both systems.
If the game itself was digitally purchased before March 31st, the entire game could have then been downloaded on the other system for free. I did that with PS3/PS4 and it worked great.
