I have a pair of Turtle Beach x11 and px4. Both of which play game sounds very well accept they both play music and some distinct sounds only through the right speaker. For example: when i navigate the home screen on xbox the sound only comes from the right and in games like minecraft, borderlands 2, Battlefeild etc. Music mostly comes through the right and can't be heard very well through the left. Although surround sound, stereo and general footsteps play very well and work perfectly. Any suggestions?

Its your ears, take a break for a while. Or maybe you don't have the headset on properly lol.

Be sure to check your input jack connection. If the jack isn't in properly or making good contact the sound could be messed up from one channel to the other. If not that, unfortunately, the mixing and stereo settings may be screwed up in the games.

It can be a wiring issue.

It could be a problem with the headphones. Check all possibilities. If the problem only happens, with your head phones, but with out them, the media player plays through 2 speakers, it's the head phones.
