I have been playing Minecraft for 5 years, an I still love it! But lately my parents have started to hate it. More and more little kids are playing the game on Xbox and stuff, giving the impression that it is a game for children.
My parents keep saying minecraft is for 5 year olds and they have banned me from playing it!
What should I do? Am I too old? How do you feel about the influx of toddlers playing minecraft now?

I'm 15 Minecraft is not a child's game. You can go to Youtube and listen to videos of guys/girls in their 20's or 30's playing Minecraft.
Some of those people actually make a profit playing Minecraft by posting videos.
I'm 18 and I still play Minecraft. Don't worry keep playing. They should be glad is not a violent game that influence you to be violent. In my opinion, Your never to old for Minecraft, I'm 17 years old and I still play Minecraft. 37 here. Me and my brother run our own server and we're hopping on in about an hour (it's more fun at night @_@ )

(Edit: there are communities for youngsters and there are communities for elderlies such as myself but you don't see them mix often, that's all. Geez, show your parents twitch, that should prove them wrong for good.)
