Whenever I'm on a block in the inventory bar, it automatically places them down here, there and everywhere until I move onto a different box with no blocks inside it. How do I change this so I place the blocks down manually because it is Really annoying me and causing me a lot of difficulty whilst building?

Sounds as if there's something wrong with your controller. Have you tried switching controllers? Also, are you pressing any buttons when this is happening? I haven't had this problem myself.

I actually manually changed the controller buttons so that the block place key was A and the removal key was the right trigger and just adjused the rest in turn. And now it works just fine/
