So basically what I want do is find a world on minecraft that has already really cool generated houses and buildings and other stuff like that. Is it possible to do that like download someone elses world onto my xbox and play with it like my own?

Yes! First find a minecraft online(YouTube) with a download link. Download it and save it on a flash drive. Next, plug the flash drive into your xbox and click the flash drive as your storage drive and load up the world!
