How to transfer my Xbox 360 marketplace games to my Xbox one? - 1

Added (1). I have bought a couple of games on the xbox 360 market place (minecraft, terraria) and they are both on the Xbox One, but how can I re download them except on my Xbox One? Every time I go to the store it is telling me to buy it again.

While they maybe available for purchase on xbox one, the xbox 360 version has to be backwards compatible for xbox one.

if those games you got on xbox 360, are not on the official BC list, you will need to re-purchase the xbox one version of the games.

go to xbox.com/backcompat to see which games are BC on xbox one.

then, if any are, when you sign into the same gamertag, go to your games and apps section, and the games will be ready to download if they are digital. Otherwise, you will need the xbox 360 disc to install it on your xbox one.

Under games and apps in the game section any game you can download again will be listed on the far right.

Games for the 360 that you own digitally and that are backwards compatible will automatically show up in the "Ready to Install" section under My Games and Apps.

Neither Minecraft nor Terraria are on the backward compatibility list.

You can buy the Xbox One version of Minecraft at a discount for having owned it on the 360; it's $5 instead of $20.
