How to join a minecraft server on xbox 360? - 1

I believe you're thinking that minecraft on the xbox 360 is like the computer. But you can only join a server if your friend is online and has his server open. As soon as your friend gets offline, so will the server he was playing on. This will be different on xbox one when minecraft is released.

There are not any servers in Minecraft on the Xbox 360/PS3, only on PC. You can only invite your friend to your game or join their game.

I do not think Minecraft xbox 360 edition has servers yet or ever will but i know they have multiplayer and how to do that is i think there's a multiplayer tab on the screen but if not there should definitely be a menue under create world and it should say something like "Multiplayer Enabled"
