How to find an abandoned mineshaft in Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition?

Dig a 3 block long and 2 block deep hole. Get 2 pistons 2 tnt and 1 lever. Jump into the hole and stand at one end and place the two pistons the the two tnt then jump up and place the lever behind the piston and pull it. It will let you see through the world. To get out just jump and break the tnt.

Its all just from looking in caves, there's no exact way, but there's a way to get to the 'end' if that's what your talking about
