So I got an xbox 360 for Christmas(and minecraft) and an now trying to connect to servers on minecraft such as the Disney server or hunger games server I see all over YouTube. I have a basic xbox live account (free). Can you please tell me step by step how to connect to servers?

1. You can't connect to PC servers from 360 Minecraft, so most of those you see won't work for you. You can only connect to other people on your friends list.
2. You can't connect to anybody with only Xbox Live free. You need to subscribe to Xbox Live Gold for any online multiplayer.

it's only on PC and if you wanna play with anyone you have to get a gold membership
