Would people want to watch me on youtube?

Recently I've been wanting to start a youtube channel, I'm a scottish girl and I'm almost 15 and on my channel I wanted to do gaming videos. I like games with a good story to them like mafia 2 or even wolfenstein and was wondering if people would want to watch my videos

I'm sure if your voice isn't too high and you aren't annoying (not saying you are!) then people will watch you. Be patient it is hard to do well on youtube because there are so many people trying to do the same thing as you. You need to do something different, something that sets you apart! Being a girl probably helps because there are a lot more male gaming youtubers. I hate to say it but you might want to play some minecraft or garry's mod with some other people as that still seems to be the current trend. Hope this helps.

I don't see why not. The only thing with the YouTube gaming market these days is it's really over-saturated. There's a LOT of YouTube gamers trying to become the next PewDiePie. All i can say for sure is this. There's no harm is trying. The only way to do anythng on Youtube is to just keep doing it. Get a consistant stream of uploads (Don't go away for 3 months or something) and attract a core fan-base. Just keep uploading. Try and carve a niche for yourself, too. Play games that not many other people would play, for instance, everyone and their mothers has done a Mass Effect video or something at some point, but noth that many people have done a full Persona 2 lets play, for instance. Failing that, play new games, the day they come out. People will want to see that gameplay day-one, and if you can provide it, then they will come.

The age old addage "Build it and they will come" fits the most though. Start uploading. Buy a capture card like a Roxio or a Dazzle (Do not use a camcorder, that is an instant turn-off for many youtube viewers) and maybe do a Let's Play of one of your favourite games.

If you believe then you can do i was in your position 3 years ago now i'm doing pretty well and its not about popularity its about having fun.

You will never know unless you try.

I'm a girl and I've also started a gaming channel, but I mostly do it because I enjoy it. But you won't get a ton of views overnight, just have fun with it.

Provided it's informative and slightly amusing and well scripted (so there aren't any lingering pauses) there's no reason why it shouldn't work. Look at other popular channels first, what are they doing that you can do better? Or what aren't they doing that you can?

Depends if it has commentary
I hate commentary on video games
