Updated Skype for Windows under important updates and it causes my Minecraft to lag even when it didn't before the update. This is the second time this happened(the first time I restored the computer) please help

Check to see if your settings are for automatic updates. Your computer will go out and look for, and download, updates for your Skype in the background, while you are trying to play Minecraft. Turn off automatic updates.
