Will Microsoft ruin Minecraft?

I have been a Skype user for many years. At it's time there was nothing else like it. Did you know that you used to be able to share the same white board, have group conversations and even remotely access another computer? Everyone was all smiles and excited when Microsoft bought Skype. We didn't know at the time that MS would kill off all the cool features and functionality Skype users used to enjoy.

They killed Rare so I wouldn't doubt it

At most I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft started cracking down on modded server tools and charged premiums for stupid things. I'd also wouldn't be surprised if they either stopped with the capes things or sold capes to players for some unreasonable fee like $10 (that's pretty much 1/3rd the game's cost, which is roughly $30 if you rounded up).
