Wii U Minecraft: Story Mode Glitch

I've encountered a glitch in this game in Chapter 7 (access denied), part 1 that has completely stopped me from continuing in the game!
This is the part:
You encounter the first mind-controlled zombie, kill it, and then encounter a group of them. Then you follow them. Right as you do so when the game would have saved and you would have continued on with the game in the town, instead when I played there's a huge glitch that skips the video of the person in the town and walking up to the town. Instead you're stuck in the town, no people, nothing to interact with. Petra and Lucas are standing around and you can't interact with them. Nothing happens and you can't leave. From watching videos, I see this isn't at all what is supposed to happen.
Please Help ME FIX THIS! I would greatly appreciate it…
P.S. I have tried reloading and trying different options from the last save point when you enter the world, but they all still lead up to this glitch. Very disappointing…
