I recently downloaded minecraft on my new Windows 8 computer. My attack action works when I'm not moving, but when I start moving or running the attack (left click) action doesn't work.
Why won't my attack (left click) work on my Windows 8 Minecraft?

My only guess is that there's some setting in Windows (especially if a laptop) that disables the mousepad (or maybe a mouse too) when typing, so dragging your thumbs on the mousepad while typing does not move the cursor. Can you still turn and look around while moving?
