Why isn't my minecraft working? - 3

If I try to play minecraft on my really old dell laptop (from 2003), I get the same problem. Your computer is probably just too old to play minecraft.

If you really want to play minecraft on that laptop, and you don't mind not having Windows on it, try installing Ubuntu (it's a kind of Linux). It's a lot like windows/mac, so it's not very hard to use, and Linux really is faster than Windows. On my really old laptop, I installed Linux instead of Windows, and I can now run minecraft at 15 fps, which is pretty good for an 11 year old computer.

Try un-installing it/deleting it. This could help reduce constant computer addiction, and help rest your eyes after constantly being online. A couple of methods to fix the problem is to:

-Yell at Mojang for ruining your life with horrible games.

-Tell your mother that you need help making friends and how you reject Minecraft as a way of life/social life.

-Talk the a psychiatrist about your addiction and how you want to have meaning on earth.

I'm just kidding! Try deleting it or uninstalling it, then re-downloading the launcher again. This could fix the consistent crashing when you press play. If it still ceases to happen, you may need to go into the depths of the game and delete some worlds. Having hundreds of un-used Minecraft worlds could cause the problem. Having a personal Minecraft Server could also be the problem, and turning that off or changing the settings for your computers' RAM will help. You may just need to re-set it altogether. And by that I mean cleaning out your computer of All Minecraft file content, not just deleting the launcher. After doing so you may re-download it and hopefully continue crafting with ease.

TIP: Do NOT call Best Buy. They will only make you restart your computer.
