Reinstall optifine, and check vsync is off. And are you sure your monitor has a 120hz refresh rate, if not there's not point in have an fps anything more than your monitors refresh rate as that is all the monitor is capable of showing. Most have a max of 60hz, some can go to 120hz and a few can do 144hz.
