Why is Minecraft still $26.95?

I doubt anyone would buy it for $20 if they wouldn't buy it for $27. More people might buy it if it was $5, but not 5 times more people.

The reason why Minecraft is roughly $27 is because the game is still being constantly updated. You are basically paying for the license, so that their department will have a larger budget to continuously update it.
