Why does minecraft lag on my good spec laptop details below including spec?

I have quad core 1.6 ghz amd a8 processor
1tb hard drive
8gb ram
amd radeon hd 7600g (750mb) graphics card
windows 8.1

i have checked that i have no viruses or anything i have also got up to date drivers as i checked.
i also have java 64bit installed. I'm clueless as to why i'm getting 20-30 fps

Well for 1 that laptop in general isn't really good due to the much lower clock speed if you were going to go for a a8 a8 4500 not the a8 4555.

make sure your laptop is not in power saving mode and in performance mode in the battery section or it will trottle the processor done as well.

plus the a8 4500 sports a better intergated gpu id contact the maker of your laptop and see if you can upgrade it to the a10 trinity version
