Me and my little brother are playing minecraft and bothered have ender chests he aced his I placed mine so to test it I put an orchid in the chest shut it he opened it and asked if I had given him anything because it was only still in my chest thanks

Ender chests are special in that they're like a players bank. You didn't need two, you only needed one. To put it simply, you can place something in an ender chest and open any ender chest in the world and your stuff will be there. No one else is able to take or even see your stuff. When your brother opens the same chest he's only going to see his stuff.
