Which laptop is more powerful?

I'm choosing between two pretty cheap laptops. Which would be more powerful and which am I better off getting?

1: EXDISPLAY HP Pavilion Ultrabook 14 Intel Core i3-3217U 1.8GHz 4GB RAM 500GB HDD 14" HD LED NOOPT Intel HD Webcam Windows 8 64-bit - this one is for 316.98 pounds.

2: Asus X102BA Touch Laptop, AMD A4-1200 1GHz, 4GB RAM + 500GB HDD, 10.1" Touchscreen, HD Webcam + AMD HD 8180G, Windows 8 + Microsoft Office 2013 - for 289.98 pounds

I want the laptop to be able to use the internet… Watch movies and use Microsoft Office reasonably well and I'd like to do some lightweight gaming like Minecraft or The Walking Dead even if at medium-ish settings. If you have any other suggestions then I'm looking for something between 300 or 400 pounds/euros

2: Asus X102BA Touch Laptop, AMD A4-1200 1GHz, 4GB RAM + 500GB HDD, 10.1" Touchscreen, HD Webcam + AMD HD 8180G, Windows 8 + Microsoft Office 2013 - for 289.98 pounds

The HP the first one. There both dual core but Intel has more Cache memory both level 1,2,3. Also the Cpu benchmark is higher for the Intel cpu. Bigger Screen aswell than the Asus.

You have not said what video card it has so not really factored that in, but sheer processing power the HP wins hands down

Asus X102BA Touch Laptop better for you and it's also a powerful laptop from EXDISPLAY HP Pavilion Ultrabook.

Why Asus X102BA is better for you and powerful?

It gives you internet service.
Amd Processor is better to see movie and lightweight gaming.
Touchscreen using system is better to play game and Microsoft office also
