So i have just bought a new gaming pc and have started to play minecraft again but everytime i fullsscreen, resume game then press W to go forward windows 8 makes this search tab pop up on the side of my screen and that pauses my game!
When i press w in minecraft a search tab pops up

Go to the options menu in Minecraft and then go into the controls menu. Your controls might have been accidentally misconfigured or something.
