What's the average fps for minecraft?

The best way to check weather your computer is good or not is to look up it's spec's (control panel - system) and decide for yourself. As long as you have a decent, recent graphics card, high GHz and core processor, RAM isn't too important but it helps to have above 6-8 (and of course a good motherboard and high memory hard drive help) you should be ok. However, to make a long story short, 60 fps is average and as long as you can handle a steady 60 fps at medium graphics I wouldn't worry - that's about average I'm pretty sure.

Well it depends on the computer, but above 60 FPS the eye can't see that much of a difference. I get about 30 FPS on max settings and its with Intel HD 4000 and Intel core i3 on a laptop xD.
