What's tekkit in minecraft?

First off, the Technic Pack is a mod pack for minecraft, consisting of many of the best mods out there. Its 3 main mods are IndustrialCraft, BuildCraft, and Redpower, which are all centered around technical additions, such as machines, pipes, wires, energy, ect. It also includes many smaller mods that add to game play. Tekkit is just the multiplayer version of the Technic Pack, with a few changes to make it SMP compatible.
