What's a good gaming laptop?

I'm looking for a good gaming laptop. I know desktops are more powerful but I'm not looking for a desktop. The games I play are Runescape, League Of Legends, Minecraft, SWTOR, And The Elder Scrolls Online when it comes out. My budget would be around 1,000 dollars I can go a little higher. I hear that Asus has some good gaming laptops but, I have no idea so what would be a good gaming laptop?

You'll meet a LOT people who'll trash the idea of gaming on laptop but you can ignore them.

There are good gaming machines actually. But sorry I can't suggest name of one because there are so many from a lot of brands. Generally a trend is that, you'll find similarly powerful machines from every manufacturer, but the cost will vary. Asus and Acer will provide your the cheapest ones. Quality isn't bad either. Asus or Acer is good.

Second thing, GPU is more important than the CPU. Even i3 works good as CPU. No worries here. For example, if you are getting one laptop with better graphics and i5 processor, and another with less graphics but with i7 processor, blindly go for the better graphics one.

Finally something that'll help you. Go to following site and from the GPU name you can compare between GPUs. Find the best one at the cost you are able to afford.

Here's your checklist/preference list that can help you:
1. Display size (15.6") because gaming on small screens suck.
2. Good quality keypad and touchpad.
3. Presence of Numeric keypad. It helps.
4. Looks of course.
5. Graphics card.
6. Ram (4GB min) you can add another 4GB module yourself. Those are dirt cheap.
