I'm looking for a laptop under or around $400. I would mostly use it for school work, internet use, and online flash games/small games like minecraft.

That seems to be the best entry level, everyday use laptop.
The customer service aspect of HP is horrible. Don't buy it.
For your use, the laptop is fine.
Don't expect it to do any real gaming though.
Well personally I would suggest Mac but if you don't like apple then go for windows. Mac is great and it was cheap when i got it. I use it for minecraft and i know many other do to so i can only say, Good Luck!
You can get good prices on toshiba.com, mac's are good, but you can't share software from your friends and you can only use apple software on the mac's
I've been looking at a HP laptop and my dads girlfriend who is an ICT technician says HP are really good?
And for me that laptop for the price look really good.
I recommend HP, Lenovo, and ASUS. If you have a problem with HP do their online support. No computer manufacturer has good on the phone support. The computer is not all that bad. It meets the spec requirements I would recommend. Although I want you to buy the laptop in the link below. The specs are 4X better then what you have found. And the best part is it is only $20 more from the one you found.
