What should I do to keep my Minecraft 3DS Videos, Documents and PIctures?

Minecraft videos (Light and Shadow, Wakers of the Wind, Phantom Sands and Rune Minecraft which Rune Minecraft is similar to Rune Factory)
Pictures that were once stored on my Store n Go and 3DS
Documents that are important to me (Last Kingdom Hearts documents, Ragnarok codes (listed secretly
and zipped), Things on the list that I was willing to get at a game store and so on…

I'm worried of losing these items if I were to switch my RAM out!
Help!

RAM does not effect your HDD.
Change, remove, add as much RAM as you want. Your files will remain where they are. But for windows to boot up it needs a set amount of RAM which i don't know.
It is safe to do so.
However make sure it is unplugged from the wall and shutdown correctly like always

RAM memory is different from your hard drive memory. When you power off your computer the RAM is cleared, but your hard drive information stays. If storage space is an issue your RAM would have nothing to do with that. Getting a bigger hard drive, or better yet an external hard drive would be the solution.

I highly advise you buy an external hard drive and copy over your important files to it, then move that external to another computer and see if you can see your files. After you determine you can see them, then you know the information is safe, now you can delete the originals to free up space.
