What Laptop do you use to play Sims 3+Expansions?

My birthday is coming up, and I want a laptop under at least $1000-1300 that can run Sims 3 + expansions. I would appreciate if it ran smoothly, and was able to play other games (preferably Minecraft, probably nothing else).
