What is the best mic that I should buy to do live commentary on my gameplay youtube vids?

I want to spend less than $100. But if it's right over $100 that's fine. I need a good quality mic to use for live commentary on my gameplay youtube videos. (I mostly do COD and minecraft vids) and I want a good quality. Like the big gaming youtubers like: Ali-a, VanossGaming, mrdalekjd, etc. Oh also. It has to come with one of those big mic stands that sit on the floor and you can adjust it and use it when you aren't sitting near a desk to set it on (like me) I sit close to the tv and I would be too close to try to play and talk. So a big floor stand is a must. Thanks! Also whole I'm here: do you guys that do live commentaries. Do you guys have it totally quite (tv muted) when you play and record and live commentary? I'm abt 3 fr away from tv and I'm worry abt getting feed back. Oh I'm using a elgato game capture to record. If that has anything to do with the mic.

Here are a few studio grade microphones that are around $100 that many professional YouTubers have used and still use.

The Blue Yeti is a USB microphone that is highly trusted and has very high reviews. It can range from 90 dollars to 120 dollars.
The Blue Snowball is a way for Blue Microphones to make a cheaper and microphone and retain quality, while it's freaking annoying to have a circular microphone. They are usually 70 dollars.
The Audio Technica 2020 (AT2020) is a VERY good condensor microphone designed for studio grade recording. This mic is what I recommend for the maximum quality while retaining a solid 100 dollar price.

No microphones come with a boom stand. You have to buy those separately, just look them up on amazon. You also need to realize that more goes into these microphones than meets the eye. You really should have a pop filter, a usually fabric yet sometimes metal screen that goes in front of the microphone to muffle pops that come from saying harsh Ps and Ts.
Pop filters don't protect from hissing, such as saying Ss. Your microphone will also pick up a ton of background noise, especially if it's a condenser microphone such as the AT2020. This would be way down the road, but a compressor is what commentators use to eliminate background noise, peaking, and harsh hissing in the microphone.
Lastly you should eventually invest in a shock mount, a weird looking thing that goes around your microphone to suspend it and if you move the stand or walk around, you won't hear annoying noises in the recording.
Remember these aren't needed to start, just get a microphone and a stand if that's what you're looking for.
You WILL get feedback from the TV if you are recording next to it. Use headphones or if you don't have any, mute the sound.
My personal setup, I use a PC for gaming and use headphones for audio. I have a mixer that controls audio going to me and can control the audio getting output to the video/stream separately. I use a boom stand that is designed for radio broadcasters that clamps to my desk. I use a Samson Meteor USB Condenser microphone that I don't recommend for you. I use the MPF-6 pop filter which runs for about 5 bucks to handle popping in the microphone.
Enjoy!

If you are just starting, I suggest that you shouldn't get a professional microphone now. You should wait a year or so. Just buy a GOOD gaming headset that has a GOOD mic. I would suggest the Razer Kraken Pro or the Razer Kraken 7.1 if you want to spend a little more.

But if you want to jump right into the best, I would suggest the Blue Yeti or the Blue Snowball. But I prefer the Blue Yeti.

BTW, what's your channel? Maybe we can do some Minecraft videos together!

Get the samson C01u on Amazon it cost about 80$ and it is so awesome. It is about as good if not better than the Blue Teti.
Samson makes mics that are portable like the Samson Go Mic or mics that are good for less likde The Samson Meteor.
