What Computer Part Do I Need For Minecraft?

I Have a computer that is fairly new. Here are my specs(i just copied them from my computer):

OS Name:Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium

Version:6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601

System ModelInspiron 620

ProcessorIntel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz, 3100 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical BIOS

Installed Physical Memory (RAM)8.00 GB

Total Physical Memory7.91 GB

Available Physical Memory3.78 GB

Total Virtual Memory15.8 GB

Available Virtual Memory9.97 GB

Page File Space7.91 GB

I record minecraft, and when i record i get 10-15 frame rate, and when i don't i get 20-25 frame rate. I followed this: http://www.planetminecraft.com/...educe-lag/
and still got only 35 frames when not recording, and 15-20 frames when recording. So i thought that it might be because my computer is old or something like that. So i was wondering what can i upgrade to make my frame rate go up.

Does your computer have a dedicated graphics card? If not you will have an integrated graphics chip which is nowhere near as good as a dedicated graphics card.

Here's a way to find out if you have a dedicated graphics card: http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/30603-how-can-i-find-out-what-kind-graphics-card-i-have.html
