What's the best Skin maker for Minecraft?

I use MCSkin3D at the moment but I'm horrid at shading and I heard Photoshop works but I don't want to pay for it. So is there a better skin maker?

You can start from scratch or use the preset ones and altar it. It also has shading layers you can add over the top so you don't have to do it yourself.
