How to make something on a Minecraft skin?

HI, i was wondering on how to make a diamond sword going down on the back of my minecraft guy and the same thing with a bow. Anyone know how to do it or knows a video on how to do it?

To make a minecraft skin, you either need a genotator or a photo editing softwear. There should be some templates on google images or on minecraft skin sites
