How to get/make a nice Minecraft skin?

I'm looking for a good place to make skins preferably. But all the ones i use start with blank templates. Are there any good websites out there, or maybe a download? I want something that has good templates!

http://www.minecraftskins.com/ has a fantastic editor, and loads of skins to edit or use!
And it DOES start with a template.
